First of all, I am Brooklyn-born-and-raised, I did not just move here with five roommates! Over a century ago, my Italian ancestors settled in the South Brooklyn neighborhood that is still home. It gives me great joy to share generations of amazing Brooklyn stories - not only mine - but tales passed onto me by a myriad of relatives, friends, neighbors and local urchins.
